Black History Month 2024

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the Sandridge School District 172 in Lynnwood held its annual tribute to Black History, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the African American community. The event, which took place from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and community members alike.

Celebrating Diversity and Heritage

From 1st grade through 8th grade, each level of students meticulously prepared presentations that highlighted various aspects of Black history, culture, and achievements. The event served as a platform for students to delve into the stories of prominent figures, pivotal events, and cultural milestones that have shaped the African American experience.
