MEET YOUR PRINCIPAL

Dear Sandridge Family,

As we approach another academic year, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding dedication and hard work exhibited by our remarkable teachers and support staff. The past few months have been filled with activities and events that have enriched the educational experience for our students and strengthened our school community.

I am immensely proud of our students who participated in the Spelling Bee, Winter Musical Concert, Science Fair and our athletic teams such as cheerleading, and girls and boys basketball. Their commitment to excellence and teamwork is truly commendable. Additionally, our student recognition assemblies have provided us with the opportunity to celebrate the achievements and talents of our students.

We are currently participating in school improvement meetings and analysis of the 5 Essentials Survey data in order to improve our school. We continue to host coat drives and provide uniforms to families in need. We have partnered with Living Grace Church in their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Lynwood  Police Department to deliver toys to families. We are currently planning our Spring activities for Earth Day and Literacy Night and working with our PTA for activities such as the Spring Talent Show and family friendly events.

Looking ahead, we have a lot of hard work in front of us with the Illinois Assessment of Readiness and spring MAP testing. However, I am confident that with the dedication and collaborative efforts of our staff, students, and families, we will finish the year strong and achieve great success.

As we continue our journey through the academic year, I am excited about the prospect of incorporating even more enriching experiences for our students and families in the next school year. Together, we will continue to strive for excellence and create an environment where every child can thrive and succeed. Thank you once again for your support and commitment to our school community. Together, we will make this academic year a memorable and successful one.

Warm regards,

Ms. Polk
