MEET OUR NEW ADMINISTRATOR

Dear Community Members, Parents, and Staff;

I would like to introduce myself to you as the new Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Assessment, and Grants for Sandridge Elementary School District 172. With an extensive 25-year career in education, my experience and dedication to students will help us drive our district to new heights of academic excellence.


My professional journey has encompassed roles ranging from an English teacher to an English
department chair, Assistant Principal of Education Services, Interim Principal, and Principal. This diverse background has granted me the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the
educational landscape, equipping me to comprehensively address the needs of students, parents, and
educators.

At the heart of my philosophy lie the principles of student engagement, high expectations, literacy,
connection, and value. My aligns with our district's mission of fostering an environment where every
student feels empowered to succeed.
Furthermore, I bring a proven proficiency in data analysis, a skill vital to student success. This
commitment to data-driven excellence will enable us to continuously refine and enhance our
curriculum, ensuring that every student receives an education that meets their unique needs.
Recognizing that successful education is a collaborative effort, I place significant importance on engaging all stakeholders. I believe in a comprehensive approach that involves parents, teachers, students, staff, and the wider community. This inclusive perspective will ensure that our educational strategies align with the aspirations and values of everyone involved, fostering a sense of shared ownership in our students' success.
