Janell was appointed to a two year term in april of 2021 and reelected to a four year term in April 2023. She served as board secretary from October of 2022 until may of 2023.
Janell grew up in Lynwood and lived a short time in Lansing before moving her family back to Lynwood in 2016. Janell is a paramedic and EMS educator. Janell has two children who attend Sandridge. She believes in offering opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities and community involvement. Janell also serves as a PTA member.
